Welcome to the

12th World-Wide Conference of the Global Alliance for Justice Education (GAJE)

11th Conference of the European Network for Clinical Legal Education (ENCLE)

The Training of Trainers (ToT) part of the GAJE WWC is designed to enhance the skills and teaching methodologies of all legal educators and clinicians, focusing on practical and reflective approaches to teaching and professional development. The ToT starts with optional Listening Bootcamp, which emphasizes the importance of listening skills in legal counseling, fostering an environment where participants can develop and practice the art of attentive and empathetic communication. The main ToT program is split in two parts: before the main conference, the ToT will focus on enhancing the conference experience for the participants through community building, developing collaborative environment and sharing resources. The second part of the ToT will provide specialized training on supervision techniques, evaluation systems, and the integration of feedback to improve both student learning and instructor performance. Participants will be equipped with tools to build resilience, take pedagogical risks, and encourage innovation in legal education.

By incorporating global perspectives and collaborative exercises, the program seeks to inspire participants to adopt inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches in their teaching. Overall, the ToT program is a comprehensive effort to empower legal educators to deliver impactful, reflective, and sustainable clinical legal education. All ToT sessions will explore strategies for creating collaborative environments for students, faculty, and external stakeholders, promoting a sense of community and shared purpose in clinical settings.
